The February meeting of Middleton Manor Lodge was a most joyous occasion, it saw a new member initiated into Middleton Manor Lodge as well as a 50th Anniversary Certificate presented to one our most loved and respected Past Masters.
The meeting was held at the Masonic Hall Albany Road Sittingourne on Tuesday 10th February 2026 and presided over by our Worshipful Master W.Bro Tom Broomfield. The evening began with the Initiation of Bro Nik Hooker, the ceremony was carried out by the WM, ably assisted by his officers.
Next came the presentation of a 50 year certificate to W.Bro Alan Newton, a celebration of 50 wonderful years in Freemasonry! Alan has been a real credit to Middleton Manor Lodge since he joined us and W.Bro Russ Wibrew gave a very entertaining account of Alan's Masonic career as well as an insight into his life outside of Freemasonry.
Following the meeting our members and guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal and the raffles raised £305 for local Charities.
Seen below are W.Bro Alan being presented his certificate by W.Bro Russ. Also Bro Nik after his Initiation along with our WM and Nik's proposer Bro Richard Coward.
