The May meeting of Middleton Manor Lodge No 6337 was held on Tuesday 13th May 2025 at the Masonic Hall in Albany Road Sittingbourne, and what a wonderful occasion it was!
Middleton Manor Lodge was honoured by the presence of the Assistant Provincial Grand Master of the Province of East Kent, Worshipful Brother Trevor Carter, along with his Escorting Director of Ceremonies and seven active officers of East Kent Province.
Once the lodge was opened and the distinguished guests had taken their seats, we were all treated to a wonderful explanation of the 1st Degree Tracing Board by W.Bro Trevor Boughen which was enjoyed by all those present.
W.Bro Trevor Carter APGM , then took centre stage and presented a Platinum Certificate to the Lodge in recognition of the outstanding contributions made by Middleton Manor to the 2025 Festival Appeal . The Lodge members had far exceeded the expected amount raised, in fact nearly doubled the anticipated total.
After the meeting 41 members and guests sat down to a super meal of Shrimp Cocktail, Steak Pie with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and fresh fruit and ice cream, During the dinner a raffle raised £220 for local charities and a raffle for a bottle of whiskey raised another £160 which was donated to the 2025 Festival Appeal.
