The Middleton Manor Ladies Night was held at Hempstead House Hotel & Spa Bapchild on Saturday 19th October 2024 and was superbly supported by 93 members & guests.
The evening started with a drinks reception hosted by our President W.Bro Alan Newton and his Wife Susan, this was followed by a wonderful 3 course meal. During the meal the guests were treated to a celebration of songs from days gone by, superbly sung by Lorraine Cater.
After the usual toasts and formalities the guests danced the night away to our excellent DJ Ian Black. As an extra special touch the guests were supplied with Union Jack flags, novelty hats etc and everyone joined in with a hearty rendition of Land of Hope & Glory and Jerusalem.
The raffle and a game of Heads & Tails raised £1000 towards the Presidents chosen Charities- SNAAP, SENSE and Leukaemia Research.
Congratulations to W.Bro Alan for organising such a fantastic event, and thanks to the staff at Hempstead House for looking after us so well.
