On Thursday 1st April, Middleton Manor Lodge supplied the funds and helped deliver 55 Easter Eggs and Easter Cards to members of the befriending scheme of SCVS (Swale Community and Voluntary Services). Pictured below is our WM W.Bro Alan Day (second from right) assisted by W.Bro Tony Lawless, W.Bro Bob Thorne, WBro Andy Symonds and W. Bro Paul Davis. The befriending scheme is there to keep in contact with lonely, vulnerable elderly residents of Swale, our volunteers delivered the eggs across the borough including Isle of Sheppey, Sittingbourne and Faverham. The eggs and cards were very well received with many of the residents contacting SCVS to say how pleased they were with them. We hope to assist SCVS with another project in the future.
